Notes

• DO NOT leave the Sea Serpent Grotto zone, after you start speaking to Sea Serpent Grotto NPCs - otherwise you will have to start over. If you die and are tractored after you start speaking to the Sea Serpent Grotto NPCs, you'll also reset the dialogue because being tractored is considered zoning.
• The Sahagin Key is Rare/Ex; so you may only hold one at a time.
• This Sahagin Key opens the Ornamented Door in Sea Serpent Grotto Map 1 (J-11).
• You will lose the Sahagin Key after using it on the Ornamented Door.

Obtaining Your First Sahagin Key

1. Zone into Norg and talk to NPC Gimb (Galka) (located at entrance, next to Chocobo Rental NPC). Gimb talks about Sahagin Keys.
2. Zone into Sea Serpent Grotto, travel to the Gold Beastcoin door @ (I-14) on Map 1.
   • Use Sneak/Silent Oil if your job level requires it on Map 1.
   • After you go through the Gold Beastcoin Door, you will be on Map 4.
   • Everyone use Sneak/Silent Oil on Map 4; even level 75 characters will be aggroed.
3. Travel to (H-11) where you will find NPC Bou the Righteous.
4. Bou the Righteous mentions that Hurr the Betrayer sells keys.
   • Make your way back to the Gold Beastcoin Door and re-enter Map 1.
5. Travel to the Silver Beastcoin door @ (N-14).
   • After you go through the Silver Beastcoin Door, youwill find yourself on Map 2.
   • Use Sneak/Silent Oil if your job level requires it on Map 2.
6. Travel to (H-3) where you find the NPC Hurr the Betrayer.
   • (This is the same room you go to for the Utsusemi: Ichi quest)
7. Hurr the Betrayer asks for three Mythril Beastcoins and one Norg Shell.
8. Trade him the items and he will give you a Sahagin Key.

Obtaining Subsequent Sahagin Keys

• Go directly to Hurr the Betrayer and trade one Gold Beastcoin and one Norg Shell to obtain a Sahagin Key.
