Walkthrough
- The Sahagin Key opens the Ornamented Door in Sea Serpent Grotto at (J-11).
Obtaining Your First Key
- Talk to Gimb in Norg (next to the Chocobo Rental)
- Head into Sea Serpent Grotto and travel to the door at (I-14) on map 1.
- If you have not passed through this door before, examine it several times until you see a glitter of gold.
- Trade a Gold Beastcoin to the door to open it.
- (Note: You do not lose the Gold Beastcoin when trading it to the door, it will remain in your inventory.)
- Apply some form of Sneak to prevent aggro.
- Travel to (H-11), where you will find Bou the Righteous.
- Bou the Righteous mentioned that Hurr the Betrayer sells keys.
- If you leave Sea Serpent Grotto after this point (including the use of Tractor), you will have to talk to Bou the Righteous again.
- Make your way back to the Gold Door.
- Head to the door at (N-14).
- If you have not passed through this door before, examine it several times until you see a glitter of silver.
- Trade a Silver Beastcoin to the door to open it.
- (Note: You will not lose your Silver Beastcoin when trading it to this door, it will remain in your inventory.)
- Travel to (H-3) and talk to Hurr the Betrayer.
- Hurr the Betrayer asks for 3 Mythril Beastcoins and one Norg Shell.
- Hurr the Betrayer can also ask for one Gold Beastcoin and one Norg Shell.
- Trade him the items he requests for a Sahagin Key.
Obtaining Subsequent Keys (Abridged)
- Head to the Sea Serpent Grotto.
- Go through the Silver Beastcoin door at (N-14).
- Travel to (H-3) and talk to Hurr the Betrayer.
- Hurr the Betrayer asks for 3 Mythril Beastcoins and one Norg Shell.
- Hurr the Betrayer can also ask for one Gold Beastcoin and one Norg Shell.
