You can use Self-Destruct as part of a combo to create Auto Refresh.
Can be paired with some of the following spells to create the Auto Refresh trait. Please refer to the Auto Refresh section of the Blue Mage/Job Traits page for details.
Self-Destruct is worth 2 Auto Refresh points.
Notes
- Damage is based on total HP.
- Reduce player HP to 1 point and induces weakness, generates an average amount of hate.
- Damage is not set to a firm value like the breath spells.
- Weakness lasts as long as regular weakness from Raise.
- Magic Attack Bonus does not seem to affect damage dealt.
- When trying to learn this spell, if successful the "You learned it" message will appear after the "Mob falls to the ground" message.
- The chance of self-destruct being used by a bomb 'may' increase as its HP decreases.
