Reduces an enemy's attack speed.

Description Spell cost: 15 MP Spell element: Earth Magic skill: Enfeebling Jobs: Level 13 Red Mage Level 13 White Mage Level 14 Puppetmaster Automaton Magic Skill 42‡ ‡Note: Automatons learn this spell automatically once they have the requisite magic skill. They do not need to use a scroll. Notes Accuracy (rate at which the spell 'sticks') of this spell is most highly affected by Enfeebling Magic Skill, and secondly Magic Accuracy. Potency (The slow +X% inflicted on the enemy) is most highly affected by MND, but is thought to cap at around Slow +25%.

Effects

Slow increases the wait time to recast a spell after a use, and weapon delay(without affecting the amount of TP gained per hit.

An effect of 100% Slow will double a weapon delay value. For Example: a weapon with a delay of 509 normally takes about 8.5 Seconds before an attack can be initiated. With +100% slow, this delay would be treated as 1018, or 17 seconds before an attack would occur.
