The drop rate on the Warding Oil, at least in Beadeaux, is really poor, especially considering you need three for each person doing the quest. It took my husband and I about 4 hours to get 6 bottles of warding oil as a THF74 and PLD74/THF25. There was little competetion for the Emerald Quadavs as we made the circuit around the eastern portion of Beadeaux, but the local RMT camping Ga'Bhu Unvanquished did start killing the Emerald Quadavs near him to keep us from stopping in the NM spawn area. --Tsakiki 03:29, 11 June 2006 (PDT)

When I did this, it was as a THF62/NIN31, with a BRD75 (I think she was 75 at the time...) as backup. As it turned out, they were easy enough that I probably didn't even need the BRD. --Kyrial 07:33, 25 January 2007 (EST)
