Talk:Aegis Scream III (San d'Oria)

From FFXIclopedia, the free Final Fantasy XI encyclopedia

I still recieved the bonus limit points even when I was KO'd at the end of the campaign battle. Added a verification flag to the notes section of the article. I have a screenshot to prove this. --Vael of Phoenix 21:09, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

To accomplish this mission, I generally need only two Jugner Forest (S) campaign battles back-to-back. Thus, I added the verification flag to the "five campaign battles needed" assertions. Like many users have suggested in the other Aegis Scream articles, I suspect this mission is actually tied to the total AN and/or EXP earned in a zone. I usually earn a total of more than 2000 AN with the two campaign battles. That's usually enough for AS3. I've never had to participate in five campaign battles. I have noticed, however, that changing zone seems to extend the number of campaign battles needed. Could zoning reset the AN value credited towards the mission? —The SCSIBug 21:57, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

I did five battles in a row on THF52, changing areas between battles. All five were victories, but at my level I barely got any AN for each battle. At the end I went back to talk to the NPC and the mission was declared a failure. It's definitely not five successes. --Cutriss 06:11, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Did Aegis Scream III while defending Sandy S today. Won 3 battles, counted 3156 worth of EXP before I got the 311 bonus exp. My estimate is 3000 exp worth of campaigning required. Didn't remove verification just in case it's less or more than 3000. - Daba of Midgard 7/27/08

If you need 3k to complete this, then i dont think you have to stay in the zone. I warped all around to present time areas and past after starting this, then went back to finish the op. I was there for one battle that had 5 platoons of enemies in that battle and got 1300LP and was completed. --Jared Fox 04:21, 23 August 2008 (UTC)

I completed the IV tier of this Campaign Ops today with a 700-exp Campaign, but I claimed it twelve days ago. It does not appear to have any time limit or zoning limit whatsoever. --Taeria Saethori 05:20, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
