Talk:Allied Mantelet

From FFXIclopedia, the free Final Fantasy XI encyclopedia

Please do not remove the Regain (Status Effect) information from this page. I can verify it is correct because at one point, I was standing as Lv.75 SMN/WHM with 300% TP before any Beastmen forces even arrived. I had all 3 icons up there - TP regen, HP regen and MP regen. I would not have added it, were it incorrect.

Perhaps there are conditions to be met, and not all of the status effects are applied, depending on the city's current technology level. But until this is investigated further, I believe Regain should stay on there as I know it is one of the bonuses given. Thank you. -- Aequis 17:57, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Regain is *NOT* a definite. I am standing next to one right now, getting Regen and Refresh but no Regain in Fort Karugo-Narugo; It is not based on allegiance as I did get all three effects from one in Rolanberry while allied with San d'Oria. DiabloRojo 17:51, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

Is the position that these appear random? Does a specific allied force have to be present in the zone? --Jeff 18:46, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

I've been doing Campaign frequently since the expansion was released, even more so over the last 4 months, and out of all the battles in the city and regions I've participated in, not ONCE have I seen either an Allied Mantelet or an Allied Belfry. I'm sure it takes a couple weeks worth of Weapons development to create these, but on Seraph's Bastok they've been doing that pretty frequently and I still don't see either of these. What's it take to get them?--Jaxen 12:15, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

Piscean War Warlocks showed up in Sauromugue today and erected about 5 of these. Doesn't seem to be limited to the cities, although this is the first time I'd ever seen or heard of them after 4-5 months of campaign. -Vindale 04:26, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

I've seen the Piscean War Warlocks erected these many times now and at the Beaucedine Glacier helping to repair the Belfries.

Current Battle Strategies: Preemptive Strikes + Stronghold Defenses. Internal Policies: Stronghold Outfitting + Military Supply Procurement.

Idk but these to me seems wasteful. The war warlocks create them and they stood there with no enemies ever appearing in some campaign battles. Onotheo 11:45, 7 August 2009 (UTC)Onotheo

San d'Oria's Knights of the Gold Badger erect these in East Ronfaure [S], with or without an ongoing battle.--Godin 12:37, 14 August 2009
