Holy
Is Holy considered Ancient Magic? -- User:Antichris
No. Ancients as were explained to me are only these absurdly expensive spells that were a rare drop off some mob with ancient in their name. I believe this is how they originally got their name. (Reference needed) --Gatsby 12:02, 3 August 2006 (EDT)
Also, all the "Ancient Magics" have special properties to them, as well as doing insane amounts of damage. They did damage, and debuff the mob to another type of magic damage. --Chrisjander 12:08, 3 August 2006 (EDT)
All of the ancient magic are elemental based that were discovered by the tarutarus back during the Age of Magic. Holy is divine magic and is associated with the followers of Altana. --Pinkfae 17:29, 3 August 2006 (EDT)
Resistance
Does anybody know how much the resistance is dropped by? Like how much will casting Burst lower resistance to Earth element in the equip screen? Likewise for Tier II AM's. (changed my wording a bit)-- Tetsujin
AM Strength
Does AM's follow the same DMG strength as normal magic ie. Thunder will do more the Blizzard, Blizzard will do more then Fire, etc or does AM follow a different strength flow?Nightcrew 12:33, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
- AM I spells, from 50-60, do ramp up in damage values, but, like other spells, by level available. Freeze, available first, deals the least damage, while Flare, available last, deals the most.
- All AM II spells, however, have the same damage values regardless of element. The values are written out in Calculating Magic Damage. --Taeria Saethori 18:16, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
