Points Deduction

Can anyone confirm or deny whether you get reduced points by capping below the recommended level? My Assault group did several runs below the suggested cap, and we noticed that we wouldn't get any "???" Items, because of that, but I don't remember any reduction in Assault Points. --Alephnot 13:54, 27 June 2007 (CDT)
