Magic Attack bonus testing
- Summoning Magic skill does not enhance this; unless otherwise changed in future updates (18June2007). Tested with capped/merited smn skill with +0 skill @ 75SMN on lvl 0 mobs. Repeated test with 324 summoning skill on same; damage was the same.
- Level 1 Avatar Magical Attack adds ~10 damage to Grand Fall on level 0 mobs. Level 2 further increases damage to a total of ~20. Each merit seems to give about +1.44% if my calculations are correct. I have not tested further than level 2; not sure if I plan on it either ^^.
Grand Fall on Huge Hornet outside Bastok resulted in
- 0 merits = 694 damage
- 1 merit = 704 damage
- 2 merits = 715 damage
- I have not tested further merit levels at this time and I am not sure if I will. Grand Fall was tested on Windsday during a full moon. I am going to do some testing with Astral Flow and Astral Pot as well in the near future. Will post results here. --Bekisa 19:27, 17 June 2007 (CDT)
- For Astral Pot, I got this a while back, It does Stack with Dream Shroud and It DOES Enhance Nether Blast Damage, which is not effected by TP. However, When using Ifrit's Meteor Strike, at 300% TP i would do roughly 1k(?Been a while) DMG to the Gigantobugard in Lufaise, However, When using Astral Pot at 300%TP (done 3 times) it would do only about 700-800DMG... and it happened every single time i had 300% TP on Ifrit, So im lost as to why thats happening. If it only happened once i'd assume it was Resisted, but it happened 3 times, and on To Weak mobs.
