0.5% Drop rate is an wrong, Its probably around 7% without TH, Its low, but its not THAT low, That would imply 1 out of every 200 Mobs drop a Chip. In my Experience i get one out of every 10~20 mobs or so, and sometimes much more then that.

• Just like pretty much everything else on ffxiclopedia, drop rate is "collaborative" : Whenever you kill N times this monster, you update the article accordingly to reflect your drop rate. When a lot of data has been gathered, the drop rate becomes fairly accurate, assuming people post correct numbers, not invented numbers. I personnally parse farming sessions so that I'm sure I can update all the drop rates accurately. Soily 19:58, October 25, 2009 (UTC)
