From a quick test, Elemental staves DO NOT affect Bar Spell stats, not to be confused with the +10 to each stat seen on the actual stave itself. Enhancing Magic Skill+ equip has a minimal effect on increasing elemental resistance. Enhancing Torque (+7 Skill) added 1 point to bar spells. Zaliek 08:15, 23 August 2008 (UTC)

Duration equation seems a tiny bit off. Barfira cast with 256 skill granted a duration of 214 seconds instead of the 210 the equation would predict. (150 + .8(256-180) = 210.8), not what was observed but very close.--Hecatonchires 09:31, 13 September 2008 (UTC)

Formula

That formula was off by 10 on my equations. The formula put out an increase of 87 at 287 Enhancing Magic while in-game I get 97. Shentok 17:00, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

Considering 87 and 97, it sounds like there might be some kind of human error involved. Usually if a calculation is wrong but is close by some obvious number, it might be worth rechecking. Might be some contribution (such as merits) that you missed? Dawnfairy 00:24, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
