Battle theories, observations, and advice -Botulus Rex seems weak against lighting. He will most likely resist all other elemental damage.
-also seems weak against fire.
-Best avatar to use is Ramuh because of the fact that it has blood pacts that deal lighting damage.
-Give your stunners, drk;/drk;blm;/blm a stun rotation. Tell them to make a stun macro that gives the name of the next person in the stun chain (very important because stunners never remember their order). Tell your stunners to use the stun spell as soon as the cooldown is reset (because the chain will be broken from deaths). Stunning is the key to victory because it stops the NM from using tp moves, which causes the NM to hate reset, cast spells, and it allows your tank to catch up to build hate on the NM. I have noticed that the NM doesn't build any resistance to stun, because its lighting based and I just told you the NM is weak against lighting. Another important note, you can't stun when you're dead and stun cooldown increases if you are weakened.
-Throw up some shock spikes! They stun too!
-It is incredibly difficult to stun a TP move or spell. The best strategy is to throw random stuns and hope that they deny a TP move or spell.
-everyone should always be under the effect of physical/magical shield from fools/fanatics drink. If any player in the alliance does not have temps then they are a liability.
-The best and basic staggering strategy
1. Use temp Fools/Fanatics drink
2. Run in and use a WS.
3. Use temp Tp wing and use another WS
4. Hopefully by now your alliance has staggered the NM, repeat steps 1-4.
-The first meteor is usually around 70%-80%hp.
-Try to refrain from using too many temps. This is very important because the fight depends entirely on replenishing the fools drink. If you haven't already noticed, some staggers don't replenish all temps, so if you used 2 or more temps you only get one random one back. If you only used the fools drink, then you are guaranteed to get the fools drink back.
-You cannot stack a fanatics drink and a fools drink. The last one negates the other.
