Had a Hard Time

I just tried this today and I had a really hard time getting past the first Lamiae. I would appreciate any tips on how to get past her. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Optima (talkcontribs).

The Walkthrough section of the article suggests a few things, like "Running around pillars is a very effective way to shake them" and "It is strongly recommended that every member be /THF and/or have radar." Monster Radar is particularly useful, because you can use it to see around pillars and corners. Additionally, if you have members travel together, it's more likely that at least one will get by. Good luck, on your next attempt! --Alephnot 12:41, 4 May 2007 (CDT)
One more note, specifically about the first guard: make sure you have Monster Radar, and stop before the pillar she runs around; watch the Radar to see which direction around the pillar she's going, and go the other way. Careful: she does change directions, though, so keep an eye on the Radar. --Alephnot 12:51, 4 May 2007 (CDT)
Another question....can these mobs capture more than one person at a time? For example, if two players rush the first guard at the same time, is one guaranteed to get through? --Optima 17:53, 5 May 2007 (CDT)
Well, they can only chase one character at a time, anyway, so I'm pretty sure that they focus on only the person they're chasing. Either way, though, if one person leads them one way, a person going a somewhat different direction stands a better chance of making it by. --Alephnot 21:33, 6 May 2007 (CDT)
