Talk:Camp

From FFXIclopedia, the free Final Fantasy XI encyclopedia

This had been one of the oldest unedited pages - dating all the way back to 3/05. --Gahoo 14:24, 27 June 2006 (PDT)

"Often (but not always) against a wall or in a nook." Why is this camp criteria? Unless you're in an area with mobs that aggro near your camp, this isn't necessary(and if mobs that aggro are nearby, you broke a different criteria listed here) Stupid line D: Grm88 05:32, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

  • Its typically to define the actual campsite. As parties fight, they tend to gradually wander. Land marks such as these will help prevent the party from accidently wandering into aggressive or linking monsters. I rocky 21:38, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

Camps

I think this article should be a terminology page about what a camp is and how they are used. The information is better suited to a table - hence the new Camps article (which I suppose could also be called [[Camps Guide]] if preferred. --GAHOO t/ c 17:45, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Table Format?

I think it would be a good idea to format the data on this page into a table to kinda clean it up and make the information uniform. I'm not familiar with the table template rules and formats, nor am i familiar with setting width/height limits so the basic demo table I made here is kinda sloppy and doesn't form right. If anyone can fix it I'll try to fill it in (assuming no one else does for me)=\ I rocky 00:13, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
