NQ/HQ

okay so it says unable to synth HQ items. does that include HQ synth that yeilds more of a NQ.

NQ = 2 HQ1= 4 HQ2=2 +1s HQ3=4 +1s

can you still get the HQ1 results or is it strictly only ever going to give you the NQ result?

Its probably never going to give hq, probably for making no quality low lvl food for higher recipe, like bufallo jerky or bread.

I'm currently testing to see if this ring will indeed give you HQ1 results with Tentacle Sushi. the NQ should be 1 the HQ1 would be NQx2 (at least that is what i am hoping for) i am NOT expecting to get an HQ results ( Tentacle Sushi +1 ) this is just merely a test to see if the larger quantities of NQ are available with the ring on. Just synthed 6 stacks of Tentacle Sushi with the ring on and i had an abnormal rate of breaks. i don't know if this ring lowers your actual cooking level to that of the synth or something but i was shocked at how much i broke. i broke a full 2 stacks out of 6. maybe it was just bad luck or something but that seemed really odd to me (106 cooking, 58 synth) but i didn't do anything differently when i normally synth other than wear this ring. either way you CAN NOT get an HQ1 that produces NQ results. --Littledarc 20:13, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
