Talk:Clear Mind

From FFXIclopedia, the free Final Fantasy XI encyclopedia

I have finally reached 75BLM. Clear Mind V is a reality, but doesn't kick in until lv 75.

um...

maybe i missed it, but since when did summoners get clear mind? -uber

As far as I know, since summoner first came out they have had clear mind ability. --Pinkfae 19:03, 5 July 2006 (PDT)

Can you imagine having that much MP and not having Clear Mind? --Chrisjander 19:38, 5 July 2006 (PDT)

heh, guess i just never noticed that... ever. odd.
yeah, i can SE doing that, since they gave them auto refresh. --uberfuzzy 23:35, 5 July 2006 (PDT)

Summoners didn't have Clear Mind until the Oct 21, 2003 patch. --Ichthyos 00:21, 6 July 2006 (PDT)

Clear Mind III - V

Is it certain that Clear Mind III+ jumps the healing rate another 2/3 hMP per tick? I'm kind of skeptical about this.... Would figure that Clear Mind III would be +21, +22, +23, etc.. Correct me if I'm wrong. --Goddess 09:25, 17 April 2007 (EDT)

Tested as naked RDM75/WAR37 (Clear Mind III), without signet and Sanction, the MP went in this way: 0, 21, 44, 69, 96, 125, 156, 189, 224, 261, 300, 341, 384, 429, 476, 504(cap), tested as WHM65/WAR32 (Clear Mind IV) went: 0, 24, 50, 78, 108, 140, 174, 210, 248, 288, 330, 374, 420, 468, 485(cap), unfortunately my SMN is 10, and my BLM is 41, so I cant test Clear Mind V. At III and IV there's an increase in the increase rate. --Moosehp 11:25, 17 August 2007 (CDT)

Clear Mind V

Someone changed the level that summoner learns Clear Mind V from 70 to 75. I didn't see any evidence for this, so I undid it. But just to make sure I was right, I tested it. I a level 75 SMN/WHM rested naked and got 27mp on the first mp up. I then asked some lvl 70-74 SMNs to do the same, they all reported 26mp (It's a little hard to calculate the mp with Auto Refresh constantly changing your mp). Although there is a 1 mp difference, this could be caused by auto refresh, and It does NOT support the idea that Clear Mind V is not learned by smns till lvl 75, seeing as Clear Mind IV would yield a result closer to 24 according to the page. --Ruben 01:54, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
