Apparently the augment just makes it so you get the boost from the roll even if the job is not in the party. Having the job in the party does not give a further boost with the hat. Did some testing with this after I got it earlier. Used Evoker's Roll as Cor/Whm. Out of 100 times, I got the supercharged roll 33 times. The best, it activated 4 times in a row. The worst, it didn't activate 8 times in a row. --Kudos 07:33, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

Tested it again today. Same setup as before. Out of 100 times, I got the supercharged roll 32 times. The best, it activated 3 times in a row. The worst, it didn't activate 7 times in a row. So far it seems to be just above a 30% activation rate. --Kudos 21:54, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

What exactly does the "supercharge" mean in case of rolls? like a MNK doing boost to up its attack rating? (ie, roll puts out bigger numbers?) Dawezy 23:48, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

means you can get the extra bonus that you would get if the optimal job for the roll was present in party. Antaress 15:39, November 18, 2009 (UTC)
