Copy Image vs shadows; also section heading

The recent rewrite is great, but the section headings (the ones that start with "Lose") make the article painful to read. I was going to revert to the older section headings, but I noticed that the September 2004 update notes refer to "copy images" and not "shadows". However, the rules mentioned in the article also apply to shadows that come from the Blink effect. Additionally, the July 2005 Utsusemi nerf states:

The player’s enmity now decreases when a shadow image created by Utsusemi is absorbed by an attack.

The way I figured it, Utsusemi is a spell that grants the effect of Copy Image, which provides shadows that protect against attacks. My question is, which terminology should be used in the article - shadows, or copy images? Mifaco 12:01, 16 July 2007 (CDT)

Actually, the Sep. 14, 2004 update says "... the copy images created by the spells Blink and Aerial Armor can also be removed in the same manner...", so it did not say anything about Blink making "shadows".
I've always considered "shadows" somewhat of a mistranslation in the NA client, as the JP version uses "shadow image" (I think?) and the Sep. 2004 update says "copy image"--the key word seems to be "image". So, both Blink and Utsusemi create copy/shadow images. May someone should add a note about this quirk in the NA client. --Itazura 18:23, 16 July 2007 (CDT)
In addition, the Utsusemi is spell based on cicada molt--an empty shell which copies the shape of the insect. Thus, "copy image" is actually the most descriptive translation of its effect. I think S-E's earlier translators of FFXI update info had the right ideas when writing "copy images". --Itazura 18:33, 16 July 2007 (CDT)
Both copy image and shadow is appropriate. Technically, both are called shadows when you're hit, and you lose an image (see the bottom of the pic). As you can see from the picture, the help text for Blink calls them "Shadow images" and the help text for Utsusemi calls them copy images. When differentiating between the two, I'd just call them by their spell name, or "Blink" and "Copy Image". --Chrisjander t/ c 19:07, 16 July 2007 (CDT)
