Talk:Corsair's Roll
From FFXIclopedia, the free Final Fantasy XI encyclopedia
Has anyone tried testing this to /COR. I've used it and didn't mind the results, but not really thoroughly enough for valid testing. -- Llana
Best way would be solo a 100XP [Even match, 70 if bst charm pet EM or lower] mob, but I've already got all jobs but bst21 (no gear) to 30+. Only way for me to test would be buy gear and do Koroloka. -- Redaru.

How about 5-6 COR in a PT everyone uses Corsair's Roll + any other Roll they need (the party-setup depends on the subjobs, COR/WAR and COR/WHM and so on...) and in this PT with that much exp+ fighting against tough or maybe very tough enemies... has anyone tested this yet? Will this exp bonus stack anyway? -- Haitani
Are these % figures accurate? I killed 2 EMs (no + or - eva or def) first roll I had 6 and got 113exp (instead of the normal 100, so 13%) and the second roll I had 5 and got 120exp (instead of 100, so 20%). This was in West Ronfaure as COR05, should level have anything to do with it.--Perim 09:53, 30 August 2007 (CDT)
Presumably the numbers on here haven't been updated since the 27/8/07 update with the corsair buffs that they did. Tufftaru 07:41, 1 September 2007 (CDT)
With a roll of V, I got 86 exp off a DC mob that would have normally given me 72 exp. That makes the exp bonus for the lucky number to be roughly 19.4%, but as I don't know how the percentage is truncated, I'll leave it at that. I'm no COR, so I don't plan to test it further. I just tried it once when I leveled to 5 to get rid of the die from the quest. Finbar 13:09, 11 September 2007 (EDT)
Tests since update
I just finished running around Sarutabaruta on my Level 5 Cor, and killed Even Match mobs while having a roll of each value (1-11 and bust) on. Recorded the difference between the XP I received and 100 (for solo kill on an EM). This SHOULD therefore be an accurate set of values to the nearest 1%. -Asphodel 17:56, 11 September 2007 (EDT)
