What's the reasoning behind needing soap to enter Limbus?

Is there some story related plot device that i missed?

I always kind of figured that Sagheera doesn't know about Limbus at all, and thinks you're going to use it to clean either body or soul. (Probably body, given the "no" option.) Instead, the Cosmo-Cleanse is probably used to scrub off all the Euvhi gunk from your entry card, so you can use it in the appropriate terminal. --Taeria Saethori 05:04, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

That's correct; when you enter a Limbus area, you'll see a message stating you "insert the <color> card polished with Cosmo-Cleanse." --Melios 02:26, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
