What's the base counter rate with capped accuracy, Counterstance not active, and no Counter+ equipment? Same question if Counterstance is active. --Divisortheory

Somehow, during a Campaign Battle in Jugner Forest (S), I received the effect of Counterstance. I was solo and on my level 74 Samurai...any ideas as to how it happened? --Docstu 04:05, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

"Defense bonuses and penalties from any other source". But penalties from mobs techs and JAs like berserk are applied (text after) which other penalties do you see ? Afaik, no job trait gives penalty, no armor is with a negative def number, and PC spells are bonuses only (protect). Maybe the formulation should be changed to say that defense bonuses only are ignored (but penalties are still applied). Carlie 09:26, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

@docstu. In jugner you have the NM Gnole of campaign with a special move "Cacophony" that seems to scramble buff or something like that. So you could receive some buff from him or other PC maybe, or maybe just random. Carlie 09:37, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

VIT 116 = Def 59
