It seems like the florid stone drops if you don't already have one in your inventory. I've killed in excess of 8 Diremites and Diremite Assaulters in a row, dropping the Florid Stone in between each kill, and have gotten a Florid Stone the very next kill. I finally gave up dropping it and just left the Florid Stone in my inventory, and recieved no further Florid Stones as loot. --Anobi 19:33, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

It doesn't matter. The item is exclusive. It will not drop if you or all your other party members have one. It still counts as a "no drop", so you MUST still update it. --Charitwo^Talk 20:53, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
