Anyone know why (at maximum reputation) I'm charged 11 gil everywhere I go while my mules are only charged 10 gil with much lower reputations? --Atsuichan 01:15, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Its because you have high fame everywhere, whereas your mules have some fame in one town and none elsewhere. Call it the "Hometown Hero" effect. The storekeepers drop their prices for famed characters just in the storekeeper's own town.--Timon of Athens 18:57, October 20, 2009 (UTC)
