I wasted 48 plates trying to capture this feral skill from Acrophies on Qufim Island and still have not captured this skill onto a plate. I do not believe it as easily obtainable as stated in the article, if at all. --Zemzerrett 08:31, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Qulun Heavyshell in a Rolanberry Campaign also has this. Was one of only two slides I took of one, so I can't speak to how common it is to capture a plate of this skill from one. Took a stroll through qufim and found that i couldn't get the acrophies to give me anything without roughing them up a little first. Wasted 6 slides to figure that out. The rest gave me only one draining attack, so i'd say our results are still inconclusive. Will try again, fighting each photo op target before taking a shot to ensure i will get 12 (or darn near) slides next time. I also had bad luck with Acrophies. I went 0/24 on Draining Attack. A friend suggested I go try demons in Xarcabard, and I was 1/12 on the Demon Knights there. --Jordaan 21:06, 28 August 2008

I went through 3 stacks of plates on using the Soultrapper 2000 on acrophies. I noticed that when I got the correct plate was right after it had used Drainkiss. I went to Xarc to test on Demon Knights and burned 7 plates and waited till it used soul drain attack then got it again directly after. It might only be obtained after the monb preforms the HP drain tp move it has. Only tested twice so far but seems likely. --Steamboat Wi11y 22:25, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
