Article Disagreeing with Itself

• MND is known to enhance the potency of Slow spells, causing them to "slow" the target by a greater amount. CHR will only enhance the accuracy of Elegy, meaning that the target cannot be made any more "slow" by adding more CHR.

• The potency of Elegy spells is only modified by Soul Voice and certain Instruments that boost it, which will add 1% Slow for each +1 point in Elegy.

I agree with the second bullet point, but I don't understand why the contributor of that second bullet point didn't simply replace the first. Is there anyone that believes MND enhances Elegy's slow effect?

Well, I'd say Slow and Elegy are two different things. And whoever posted that, implied a strong connection between the two, which I believe shouldn't be there. Mind might enhance the spell Slow, but for Elegy, I agree with the second bullet, and things like more skill and Earth Staff will only enhance its accuracy to land on the target. ~ Goddess ~ TalkContrib 12:49, 18 August 2007 (CDT)
