I seem to remember getting a different CS depending on which guard I gave the parts too... the one in Port Bastok had Ayame drop by and the guard talked about how attractive she was, the one in Bastok Mines had Iron Eater drop by and get aggravated at the comments on the Galkan issue.

In the Metalworks, trading the fetish pieces to Malduc will initiate a CS with Malduc, Naji, and Lucius. Naji comments on his childhood memories of these dolls. Lucius shows up suddenly and mentions that origin of the fetish and comments on Quadav aggression against Bastok. --Aleckszander

I was easily able to solo this quest with a level 18 warrior and some decent gear the requirement might be a little high. -- Gnomes Away
