Tickets?

First thing I do this morning is log on and find "Tickets Sold Out". Really? It was only a single day...

Saion: I agree I can't believe after a half of a day of selling them they are sold out, I've come to believe that Square-Enix is either holding a small event or they just had a limited amount of tickets either way its not fair to the people who had work/school and couldn't even have 1 day to get there tickets I'm very upset with this.

  • Speculation from the blog was that this event was about half the size (1,000) of the one in Anaheim last year. Still, one has to wonder how a 2,000-seat convention that previews, for the first time to the player base in North America, a full new expansion, still has tickets available the night before it starts -- and this one is sold out within 3-12 hours. --Starcade 08:24, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Things The Press Need to Ask About

1. Technical XP (Receiving XP from doing Skill Chains and Magic Bursts)

2. Updating FFXI to Crystal Tools to extend the lifeline of the game. And bring in new players with Enhanced Graphics.(I know the PS2 players don't like this idea.)

3. Proper Official Port to the PS3.

4. If any more Expansions are planned.

5. OMG GIVE US MORE RAPTURE INFO PLZ?

6. Press needs to give the panel shit about the ZNM Mega boss story drama happened a few months back just for laughs.

7. And Ask them about reduced respawn times on the 24~30HR NM pops for ppl with real jobs and a freakin life.

  • I can give you a definite answer to one, and a probable answer for another -- and they're both related. To #4: They already announced at VanaFest the creation of three new "novelette" mini-expansions for download, the first one starting in March of 2009. They will be approximately $10 apiece, and you can get information at this PlayOnline site . As for #5, the speculation, according to various Vanadiel Podcast Alliance members, is that this, along with an assured continuance of updating Wings of the Goddess content, will push Rapture back another year. --Starcade 08:20, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
  • And, as for #7, you can actually play Final Fantasy XI to that level with a job and a real life? --Starcade 23:12, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

ok... wtf is all that gibberish in the live blog?--Adalast 04:28, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

  • Are you talking before or after you press the "play" button? Before, it's just stuff they throw in (in Latin, no less) to hide all the real content of the different live blogs. After, well... There wasn't much today. Tonight was registration and watching everyone get drunk.--Starcade 08:20, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
