These spawn in the western and northern passageways between the rooms, you have to go up at least 1 geyser to get to them, they seem all right for Zinc ore but as Kennx4u said, the Stone Eater's around J-13 also drop Zinc Ore and the rate isn't too bad, I made 12 Zinc Ore, 2 Hermit Rings, 4 stacks of Flint Stones, and 2 stacks of Sulfur in about 40 minutes at most --Sariusmonk 15:46, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
