Talk:Goblin Drink

From FFXIclopedia, the free Final Fantasy XI encyclopedia

its been confirmed via the 2006 Tokyo Game Show that it in fact spawns that goblin nm, and there is a recipie out there for it. Source 1 / JP Source --Ayrlie 23 September 2006, 11:22 (CDT)

Is it true this can also be synthesized with a Phanauet Newt? --Jopasopa 13:42, 24 September 2006 (EDT)

The Phanauet Newt recipe is valid. I think the skill level is higher than 80 though, based on our level 76 cooking mule having 50% critical failures, even with advanced support. --Tsakiki 21:41, 25 September 2006 (EDT)

Didn't the guy from the tokyo game show thing say it was a thundermelon? --Chrisjander 15:54, 30 September 2006 (EDT)

I saw one translation online that did indeed say thundermelon. We used watermelons like the recipe lists here. --Tsakiki 16:36, 30 September 2006 (EDT)

Confirmed: The recipe does *not* allow for thundermelons >.> I'm still working on finding out the pnewt recipe's cap (I figure I'll call it quits if I don't get a skill up in 12 more synths)--Dragonspight 02:29, 29 December 2006 (EST)

Are we absolutely sure it has MP recovery +1? The only person I saw saying this (on bluegartr forums later decided he was wrong, misinterpreting the increasing recovery per tick as a hMP bonus. Tahngarthor 13:23, 11 January 2007 (EST)

Skill cap

I just crafted this item at 80.5 skill and got a .1 using elshimo Newts. I'm going to change the synthesis recipe for that one to 81. Could use comfirmation (that it's not higher) and a test on the P.newt recipe. --Dragonspight 03:02, 21 December 2006 (EST)
