This is by far the worst fish I have tried to catch. I am level 97.2 fishing, +5 fishing gear, high fishing synthesis, using meatballs with penguin ring and albatross ring. No matter what I do I cannot pull in one of these fish. I can get to about 40% and then I lose my catch. The pole will stay more in the position that makes the life go up more than anything. I'm so frustrated I'm about to quit FFXI, after over three years of playing. Does anyone have any idea what I need to do? SE won't help me. They say keep trying. can't be fished up w/o pinguin and albatross ring because after 16 secs you auto give up w/o rings, this fish give you fitigue a lot faster than other fish with lushang you can fish about 10-15 gugru per day and with ebisu my record is 48
