Prevention

I noticed [shield bash] will interrupt the usage this ability, but other spells will prevent the activation of this ability. Example: will Head Butt prevent the activation like it does for most job abilities? Wartoc 12:57, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

Delay Reduction or Haste or Neither or Both?

This says it reduces the amount drained by Drain Samba because of delay reduction...but does it affect TP accumulation? If the effect is truly a Haste, it shouldn't affect Drain Samba.

I'm not debating the effect on Drain Samba, but it may simply be a function of Hundred Fists that makes Sambas ineffective. Basically, if Hundred Fists reduces delay directly, it would also reduce TP gain and Drained HP. If it reduces delay via Haste, it shouldn't normally have an effect on Drain Samba but may have one as an added function of the ability. Pity, because that would be epically awesome. I always thought that your final delay (including gear/spells) is what determined the drain amounts. It's just that multi-hit weapons (and double attack?) don't reduce it. So, if Joyeuse was hitting for 50 and draining 14 or whatever ... on its double-swing rounds, it would give you 14 and 14 (28 total), rather than dividing the normal amount between those rounds (7 and 7). stacking haste

so gear, and spells dont stack with 100 fists. Has there been any testing to see if haste samba, or hasso, will stack with this? Xyonblade 18:32, December 1, 2009 (UTC)
