I previously put down unconfirmed method to get the Lamia's to drop their weapon. However, soon after that unconfirmed method was taken off the page because it was said that this did not belong on this page. My question is where would be a good place to put the unconfirmed method. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Moonface113 (talk • contribs).

There are two types of blunt damage: hand-to-hand type, and normal (aka impact) blunt. Certain mobs (magic pots, for example), take more damage from impact blunt than hand-to-hand blunt. See the Damage Types page for more details. --Kyrie 15:34, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

I'd like to point out that the mob listing isn't completely accurate. I just helped a friend get this spell and we attained it from a Lamia Dancer, which is unlisted. --DesertWind 12:28, 4 June 2008 (CDT)

The mob listings on blue magic pages are not a definitive list of every mob you can learn from; they are merely examples. With very few exceptions, you can learn any spell from any mob in the family, not just the ones listed. --Kyrie 07:28, 13 September 2008 (UTC)

Just checked the bash thing last night, and shield bash knocked the weapon out of Lamia's hand in Caedarva Mire everytime it was used on the side of Lamia while she was swinging sword. Klutz 23:13, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
