Non ToAU areas

I was curious of anyone has experienced or would want to test this. If you get the increased meal duration sanction and you eat food in ToAU area, if you go to a non-ToAU area does the effect extension still last since the food was eaten while the extension was in place, or does the timer reset as if it never was extended. Example, if you eat a 30 minute food with the Sanction effect on (which should expand it to 1 hour food), if you teleport to Mea for example right after eating it, will it still expire in 30 minutes or will it last for the full hour. Also if you eat the food while Sanction is still in effect, then your Sanction expires out, is the food still going to last double or does the timer reset there too. Farmed just mobs in WotG area with increased meal duration as one of my extras for sigil and had one Meat mithkabob last for almost 80 min. My nation (Sandy) control at the moment all regions it can in WotG including La Vaule. this might have something to do with the time the mithkabob lastet or the fact that i am att Wings §§ myself in medals still its about 20 min more than the page says it should be lasting. controlled the time it lasted as i used my food and then imediatly after used my signal pearl. and signal pearl had 18:42 left to it was ready to be used again when food effect wore off. --Shienar 19:51, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

Variable duration with Sanction

I believe the duration increase with Sanction is based the same aswith the Regen and Refresh effects. I've had Sole Sushi +1 go out before 2 hours in Salvage without dying and using the food after I enter. This leads me to believe that it is not a guaranteed double duration. --Shentok 20:58, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

I too noticed the effect may be more than double. I used a Tavnazian Taco in Caedarva Mire (30 minute food), but it definitely lasted close to 90 minutes. -- Yumeiqian, Shiva Server. 06 August 2009
