Zanshin Effect

Does this also grant the effect of Zanshin for jobs that do not normally have it? IE: WAR/DRG with a Great Axe?

If so (or if not) has anyone tested the percentage?

Yes, this grants Zanshin. The percentage seems to vary a lot for me, so I can't really give a good estimate. ~ Karuberu 03:55, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

What did you test this with? Cause if you tested it with WAR or /WAR, odds seem pretty good all you saw was Double Attack. I think MNK with a staff or something like that would be a better test. Can anyone confirm this, as I doubt they would just grant the ability with it rather than enhance it. My assumption is that its only effective to use the strap for SAM or /SAM. --Kariudo 21:27, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

It's a piece of garbage, zanshin is a trait that only gets worse as your gear gets better, gearing for zanshin in *ANY* scenario is always a mistake. Always. Yeah, but your accuracy on the second swing is just as bad as the second one, so if you're missing half the the to proc Zanshin 10% of the time, those 10% 'saves' will also be missing half the time. Zanshin is nice as a backup trait but doesn't hold a candle to Double Attack. --Ranzear 00:18, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
