Talk:Kenkonken

From FFXIclopedia, the free Final Fantasy XI encyclopedia

I think "Kenkonken" is Japanese for "universal ring" or "cosmic ring", and was an item of the Chinese trickster deity Nezha (Nataku in Japanese). I think it's a legitimate weapon, as well. Malumultimus 11:51, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

huh?

Where did this information come from? the final weapons aren't in the game yet, so no legitimate picture should be possible. Tahngarthortalk-contribs 21:31, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

Information on several of the new relics was released to premiere sites earlier today. --Urth 21:50, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

does anyone else hope that SE actually pulled out a dictionay and looked up the word "suppress" before putting it on the mystic?

 5. to stop or arrest (a flow, hemorrhage, cough, etc.).
 6. to vanquish or subdue (a revolt, rebellion, etc.); quell; crush.

or at the very least

 7. Electricity. to reduce or eliminate (an irregular or undesired oscillation or frequency) in a circuit.

How does the description go against the definition? It reduces or possibly eliminates Overload. - Hiachi 09:53, 8 November 2008 (UTC)

Seems we have our first obtained mythic.

This was faked from what hear through CS .dat swaps. I can't be sure but I think there's a BLU, BRD, and MNK weapon "close" to completion. --Inuibanshin 02:11, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

Seems like you can't trust anyone anymore. Shentok 18:58, 17 December 2008 (UTC)

Completed by Caile

There's still testing being done. Thusfar, the Supression is confirmed not to be absolute. It appears to get only 30-50% of the burden that each maneuver does, and possibly converts all bad burden into good burden regardless of master/automaton stats. It appears you can go over the threshold by about 5-8 maneuvers before a chance to overload. The threshold is also reached with about as half many maneuvers. Because of this decay, is much quicker, making it very very difficult to overload. Caile reports that he can get up to 15 maneuvers (using the same maneuver every 10 seconds) before an overload, macroing in Buffoon's Collar and Pup. Dastanas.--Ami 18:14, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
