A proposal was made to change the name of this page from Gods Armor Set to Kirin's Osode Set.
The proposal directed that discussion and voting on the matter should appear here in the discussion area.
The person who proposed the change mentioned in the changelog that "Proposed move to conform to naming conventions; ex: Hara-Ate Set" but failed to elaborate here in the discussion area.
Given the lack of elaboration, i set out to find the "naming conventions" mentioned in the change log but could not find them anywhere. I then reviewed the mentioned "Hara-Ate Set" page to see if any discussion there might shed some light on these mystery standards, but there was no discussion there. I then proceeded to search many armor set pages to find anywhere where there might be some discussion of these "naming conventions".
Morrigan's Attire Set page was the closest i came to finding something. On that page's discussion area, the consensus seems to be that referring to an armor set by the name of a single piece of armor within that set was too confusing. I concur.
In the case of this page, i oppose the change in naming because i believe "Gods Armor Set" is more intuitive and less confusing than "Kirin's Osode Set".
Because the proposal also directed that "If, after a few days, a clear consensus for the page move has been reached, please remove this notice or request further assistance.", and given that it has been a month since the proposal was made and also given that i am the only person to post (in the correct place) an opinion one way or the other on it in all that time, i declare that a consensus has been reached and am removing the proposal.

Also, do not take it upon yourself to resolve renaming issues, that is for admins to do. --Chrisjander 19:50, 29 March 2007 (EDT)
