Talk:Lesser Colibri

From FFXIclopedia, the free Final Fantasy XI encyclopedia

/check def/eva research: BRD75/WHM, 226 sword, 61 dex

  • L63: low eva at +0 acc (253), low def at 290 attack
  • L64: low eva at +4 acc (257), low def at 295 attack
  • L65: low eva at +10 acc (263), low def at 303 attack --Valyana 23:24, 29 May 2007 (CDT)

Is that accuracy being counted with or without the base accuracy of 8/10? --Dragonspight 01:16, 11 July 2007 (CDT)

That's calculated as described on the Accuracy page, which doesn't include a "base accuracy" value anywhere. --Valyana 01:21, 11 July 2007 (CDT)

Can somebody tell me why the notes on the main article are needed? We don't do this for other mobs. --CharitwoTalk 07:56, 12 July 2007 (CDT)

Because Mob defensive stats are important to people who want to calculate damage. It's also a great reference for what type of gear you should bring to camps beforehand. I personally envision this information on every mob page, but sadly, it's not that easy. At least many of the popular exp spots should have them. --Dragonspight 17:47, 14 July 2007 (CDT)
This kind of information is incredibly useful and should be on every mob if we had the data. --Masse 22:28, 3 August 2007 (CDT)
I agree 100% with Masse, I think this info is really awesome and would be great to have the same info in all mobs. --Nirvana oscura 5:26, 18 April 2008 (GMT+2)
I don't get it... most people are so old they don't need this information, they know that colibri are semi-squishy weak to piercing, imps are fast kills but cause amnesia/silence, crawlers are defensive, etc etc. If new people need this information isn't easier just to ask? (Plus, how many new people really know what the colibri def/eva means compared to other mobs?) I think it's useless. Fight 'em, learn 'em, adapt to 'em. I don't think it's necessary to add a sizable chunk of info that only has a use for number whores. Grm88 17:59, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
would have been nice to know this info when i started :P Luckydeville 02:37, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
I don't mind this information at all, I can see it being extremely useful, but how on earth do people find that out? It would need countless hours of testing.. I'm not doubting it, I'm just really curious, if I can I will do this test for a lot more mobs, so please let me know :P Zaphor 05:26, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
