Talk:Maat's Cap

Possable Theory

after doing many many Assualts, it recently came to my attention that other things in the game could work in the same fashion, where as maybe you don't have to beat him will all jobs, and can "skip" some of the jobs and repeat killing him with others, kinda like how assualt works, (skip a mission have to redo a diff mission 5 times), maybe someone with alot of time on there hands or that farm in places can get Tests could try this out, might be worth the effort instead of lvling up all jobs =P.

No.

SE had a story on the maats cap... Do a little reading before posting random stuff you think of.

Teleport?

Err, ah... 'kay, newb question here. I've only ever gotten to slightly above level 30, but I've seen very few people with Maat's Cap. Seen them with the timers ticking down, figuring they've used the Teleport, but .... where does the Teleport actually take you, does anyone know? Does it tele you to Ru'Lude, near Maat? Or where? Just curious, is all. Snojoex 01:28, 5 August 2006 (EDT)

Takes you to Ru'lude. The reason so few people have this is that very few people have all non-TAU jobs to 70+ so they'd be able to beat Maat on all of them. Its quite a feat. --Chrisjander 01:37, 5 August 2006 (EDT)

Technically, you only have to have them at 66+. Also, I beleive you may need to do another quest afterwards, but there's not much info on this item still --Feba 17:33, 29 August 2006 (EDT)
Yeah, you just need each of the 15 pre-ToAU jobs at 66 to be able to fight Maat on them. After you've successfully defeated him on those jobs, you just talk to him again and there's a cutscene. The contents of the cutscene were posted on KI a while ago but I can't find it now. --Ichthyos 18:48, 29 August 2006 (EDT)

List?

I'm surprized that there is no Maat's Cap list of people who have it, like the relic list. Someone make it? --SephirothYuyX 19:19, 27 June 2007 (CDT)

After the big debate over deleting the relic list, which ended up being moved to Divisortheory's subpage, I don't think this is a very good idea imo. {{Maat's Cap}} is sufficient. --CharitwoTalk 19:24, 27 June 2007 (CDT)

No, lists of accomplishments belong for individual users on that user's page. The wiki is not a place for this. --Chrisjander t/ c 19:24, 27 June 2007 (CDT)

If you would like to see one, FFXIAH.com has one. --Kyrie 17:47, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
