Many people wonder about the "Enhances Counterstance Effect" found on these gaiters. Through my experiences with them, the conclusion I have come to is that they increase the accuracy of counters, while wearing them and counterstanced. I have no proof to offer you, and no desire to create a way to test this. The most telling evidence of this comes on fighting mobs slightly too evasive for whatever gear/food combo I have (65% acc or so), my counter rate is vastly improved from wearing the gaiters. On mobs with very low evasion (85% acc or so), I notice little to no difference from wearing the gaiters.

Enhance Effect

do these maintain enhancement if you switch them on, use counterstance, then switch off?
