Does anybody know the level or at least a rough estimate for this monster?

Easier than expected

I set my level 35 NPC to Shield mode and popped the slime, she spawned and voked without me needing to cast or engage in any way. At 51 blm I was able to 1-shot it with Freeze (w/Ice staff and reasonable gear, no food, and Ninja sub) before it used any TP attacks. By the time the spell went off, my NPC was down to 10-20% HP at level 35. Unable to sleep nuke because npc auto-engages.

Attempted with 42 DRG/ 20 WHM in full RSE + some mixed gear, NPC was level 31 with Great Sword in Shield mode. Fluid Spread did 320 to NPC, 209 to my Wyvern, and 253 to me. Entered fight with 300% TP and opened with Double Thrust. Barely survived the fight with 2hr, NPC died. I was getting 0.3 skillups from it, as well. --Linoth 21:44, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

Repeat attempt after talking strategy with a friend. Set NPC to Healer this time, since I thought she was on Attacker the first attempt. Came DRG/WAR in full on Exp gear (Centurion's Scale Mail, Garrison Hose, Leaping Boots, Peregrine). TP'd up, healed to full, popped the slime. Provoked to take hate and put up Berserk for Double Thrust. Dropped Berserk and was still taking 40-60 damage per melee hit. NPC was struggling to keep me at 50%. 2hr'd when I reached 100 HP and slime was around 30%, as NPC had warned about low MP. Defeated it as THF/NIN 49 with NPC at lvl 36 set to Attacker. The slime hits hard but doesn't seem to have great defense. The battle was over very quickly and it had only gotten through my shadows 3-4 times but my hp was low yellow and I'd used 2 bloody bolts. If you have a low-lvl NPC I recommend that you not have it set to Shield or NPC will likely die. NanaaMihgo 12:37, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

Extremely easy fight as 66 thf/nin. Missed me a lot. Digest was stealing about 60hp each time. Pacmon 01:12, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
