When traded to your NPC, it will randomly change her personality. It should be noted that you can only trade this item when you summon your NPC via signal pearl, or tatics pearl. You can not trade this item to your npc while they are summon inside a Promyvion area.

Currently the description states it changes your fellow's personality into a more playful one. However, as my NPC already had a somewhat playful personality it changed her into a more serious and horribly snob-like personality. When I talk to her she gave me a reply of "If I wanted pointless conversations with you, I'd ask for it!" *cry*. Also, a more comparable change is the shout she makes when performing a weapon skill: from "Time for action!" to "Face my wrath!" --Radiënt 18:41, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

i use these all the time my npc becomes more playfull saying stuff like "you never know when somthing bads gonna happen till it happens, whats that!?. kidding!" radient i think ur npc has a nice attitude,if u like fiesty girls lol Redchaos 23:03, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

I wonder if there isn't some other factor at play here. Yesterday I traded a Metamorphose Balsam to my NPC, which altered her personality from "serious" to "domineering." Earlier today (and after Japan midnight) I traded her a Metamorphose Perfume, and once again she became "domineering" as opposed to any of the other personality types.
