Has the jury come out yet about whether INT/MND effects magic acc? Would these be better for blu debuffs than jet seraweels? --Blazza 01:15, 9 September 2008 (UTC) The jury will likely never be out. IIRC, Squeenix said once that it does, and from there people assumed that it was (like physical accuracy pre-2handupdate) 2INT/MND to 1 macc. Unfortunately we don't know if that's true, or if it's something less effective. We'll likely never know, just since magic accuracy is ridiculously hard to test conclusively. Leaving us to take it mostly on faith.--WinterNightz 05:47, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

SE never said that INT/MND affect magic accuracy - That rumor was started by players who didnt understand the difference between magic accuracy and the strength of a debuff. INT and MND affect the strength of a debuff, which is different from magic accuracy. for example: how much higher your MND is relative to the targets MND will will affect how much slower %wise your slow is. Another example would be: how much higher your MND is relative to the targets MND will will affect how often your target gets paralyzed by your paralyze. As for the accuracy of the debuff landing - that is affected by your skill in that magic + your magic accuracy and pitted against your target's resistance to the spell. Bottom Line: if you want your blue magic debuff to land - use blue magic skill and magic accuracy. If you are sure it will land, but want the effect to be stronger then load up on MND or INT (depending on what type of debuff it is.)--NOiSEA 20:19, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
