Talk:Moghancement: Gardening
From FFXIclopedia, the free Final Fantasy XI encyclopedia
I think it should be noted that having Moghancement: Gardening with an Aura of 100+ will not only reduce the chance of plants withering, but that it also cuts down on growth time for tree recipes. With this moghancement, it only took me 12 days for Tree Cuttings to be ready for harvesting and not 21 as it would have been otherwise. Essil 21:19, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
This sounds very plausible, but can we get confirmation of this? Does havening Powerful Elemental Energy change the amount of days to greater then 12 less then 21? Does the reduction in days also shorten the window you can Feed Crystals to your plants? --AnonRamuh 18:05, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
In case anyone was wondering how powerful this Moghancement is... I "took a break" from the game that ended up lasting 4 months. When I logged back on to my gardening mule ready to empty out 10 flowerpots, I was shocked to discover there were 3 pots whose plants were still alive. Some days later I got 30 shell bugs from one tree cutting and 2 tree saplings from the other. There is still 1 sapling yet to be harvested. If it turns out to be an ore I think I'll faint. Mule had a mog house full of bahuts for overwhelming earth energy/gardening moghancement. Oh, and in my experience having 100+ aura has not lessened the grow time of my trees (that's under normal conditions not involving 4-month breaks >.> ) --NanaaMihgo 14:39, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
- Update: no ore, it was 2 reishis. ; ; I'm still impressed though. --NanaaMihgo 01:43, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
