desynth cap

just saw a lv45 goldsmith get a +0.2 skillup desynthing one of these. would someone be able to confirm the desynth cap on this? doesn't seem to be 42. ^^ --Eleri 04:30, 25 October 2006 (EDT)

Are you certain? I desynthed a ton of them 41-> for mythril ingots, and never saw a skillup after 42. Perhaps they were a 44~ goldsmith desynthing a gemmed mythril earring, which caps at 45? --Aurikasura 05:33, 25 October 2006 (EDT)

absolutely positive. it was a mythril earring bought from the npc in gems by kshama, the jewelery store in lower jeuno. they don't sell the gemmed earrings. --Eleri 12:04, 25 October 2006 (EDT)

entirely positive. considering I was the goldsmith in question. Skill was at 45, and I desynthed a mythril earring, got a +0.2 skillup. I'd have taken a screenshot, but I play on Xbox 360, so can't really do that. Regardless, it happened and thats all I can say. --Toxictaru 13:39, 25 October 2006 (EDT)
