Additional effect: Poison

The note on the addition effect I got from my own personal experience. When fighting toughs in a duo with a Corsair, the Poison effect would go off about once a fight, sometimes twice. If we killed it fast it sometimes wouldn't have time to proc, but for the most part I was very pleased at the rate at which the Poison effect went off. --Chrisjander 21:18, 12 June 2006 (PDT)

After using Nadrs, I have come to the conclusion that it activated about as often as most additional effect weapons. This includes Katanas with add effect as well as Vs. Byakko's Axe. Just saying I don't see anything significant about its activation rate. --Thris 17:29, 21 August 2007 (CDT)

From my experience, most additional effect weapons go off based on the dificulty of the mob. The weaker the mob the more the effect is triggered. --Kaiselius 07:28, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

Happen to notice if it was Watersday or weather? Addition effect weapons are much more likely to proc on their effects elemental day or weather. i.e. my Kabrakan's Axe, which has added effect slow, would proc about 1 in 4 hits during earthsday as opposed to about 1 in 20 on other days. Mobs ranged from IT to EP when I tested it out with my old parser back in the day. --Bekisa 03:19, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

I disagree as well and am taking off the additional effect note. There is nothing to indicate this weapon giving a higher than average proc rate from my results. --Raikenshi 15:54, 25 October 2008 (PST)

Someone just attempted to add this note again, so I think we need some actual testing to prove or disprove this. Poison Kukri would probably be the best weapon to test this against, as it's the same level/same type of Additional Effect and is generally considered to have a "normal" activation rate, although any other common Poison weapon would probably be good enough. However, for now, I've added the note with a verification tag. ~ Karuberu 14:52, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

Most additional effect weapons seem to have about 3-5%(From my experience with things like Fire Sword, various Katanas, etc) so that means it has to have maybe 7% or higher before (In my opinion) it has high proc rate. Petco 03:27, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
