Does anyone have a clue what these actually do? I can confirm that they do NOT work directly in place of, or alongside, Dragon's Scales or Wyvern's Scales in any of the DRG JSE armor, as was previously rumored. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kerberox (talk • contribs).

Did you read the alla thread? It's mostly people saying the synth does not work, which it doesn't. There's a similar thread on BG. --Aurikasura 02:58, 8 September 2007 (CDT)

It sounds like there is enough evidence for the synth recipe to be changed and Dragon Mail removed from this page's list. Not every item in FFXI has a use. This seems to be one of them. --zoogelio-forgot-his-password 14:03, 8 September 2007 (CDT)
