Just something I noticed. These fish/eel seems to bite most often during night time. I would catch a lot during the night and not much during the day. It's just something I noticed over the 5 or 6 different session I hunted for them. Used Shrimp Lure and Sinking Minnow, same result. Mbout July 09

South Gustaburg: Sinking Minnow and Halcyon Rod also can catch these. Not entirely sure on rarity, as I'm fishing lvl 10 with full fishing tunica set currently. Vaius 07:56, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

Halcyon Rod and Shrimp Lure work great to fish Ogre Eel, but beware of the Bastore Bream which can occasionnaly bits and snap your line, and maybe break your rod, cancel those bits. Worax 18:10, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
