Apparently three earth days were not too long for my case. It's been months before I obtained the old ring after I talked to Kohlo-Lakolo, and I was still able to trigger the cut-scenes and finish the quest the right way. Maybe whether or not it is too late is determined in some other way. --Loeyuue 22:36, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

In my case, it was too long after 15 minutes, it may be random or tied to in game day.

I think it's random, i started this quest straight after the last one and gave him the ring straight away and it was still too long, however looking at my in-game time it may have changed in-game day during that couple of seconds which could have triggered it but i can't say for sure.--Lacas 12:23, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

To Complete this Quest

If you have not received the cut scene with Ajido-Marujido at Castle Oztroja while doing Windurst Mission 3-1: To Each His Own Right, the ring will not appear for you. I had a very frustrating time trying to do this quest and not being able to finish it, once I did the mission though, the ring appeared.--ChaFujimura 00:36, September 22, 2009 (UTC)
