I really have yet to see or hear anybody get this item from the Orcish Neckchoppers in East Ronfaure (S). By now given the amount that have died you think we'd have heard of at least one.

I nominate that we remove the Orcish Neckchopper from the list of mobs that drop this item. I think those interested should head into Jugner Forest (S) or La Vaule (S) and kill the orcs there to see if they drop it. --Jeff 11:19, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

A friend of mine has killed hundreds of orcish neckchoppers in East Ronfaure [S] and has not received a single pauldron. In light of this and the other posts here, I'm going to remove it from the list and add an information needed tag.--Tsukinomahou 06:52, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

The craft skill level for this desynthesis seems to be off. I'm at 25 Smithing and tried to do this synth and got the "Synthesis canceled. That formula is beyond your current craft skill level" message. Perhaps it is 28, but you would have to upgrade your rank to the Novice level in Smithing. Rynokthegreat 05:08, September 3, 2009 (UTC)
