Talk:Pet Roborant
From FFXIclopedia, the free Final Fantasy XI encyclopedia
according to FFXIAH.com Stack = 99, I suspect that since the othr recipe has 33 per synth that this one does as well if it does stack to 99.--Chimeramage 19:43, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
If all it does is "Removes status ailments from pets" I rather stick with Zeta since it doesn't require so many odd items. lego 19:50, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
- However, the recent patch also reduced Reward from 3:00 recast to 1:30 recast, so you can use Reward much more often than Zeta would justify. Besides, Zeta doesn't remove remove certain status ailments unless you have AF+1 or Relic gear on; this item opens that up to all BSTs that can use Reward. --Ctownwoody 16:04, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
How It Works
This pet food acts as an Erase for your pets. It does not add a regen effect, It only removes status effects. Removes Paralyze, Poison, Blind, Weight, Slow, Silence, Choke, Frost, Rasp, Burn, Drown, Shock. I missed several times with removing paralyze while fighting Hakutaco. The other effects are verified having been removed by Roborant. Whether or not my gear had any effects are unknown. I have Monster Gear, Bison, and Khimaira. Vyumaajohrluv 12:20, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
If anyone knows anymore info please post!
Personally confirmed status removals
I can personally confirm Roborant removes "Disease", "Paralysis", "Blindness", "Shock", "Silence", "Slow", "Bio". Will update with more, as encountered. --ShadowsFell 23:21, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
Can also confirm that it removes "INT Down" and "Atk Down". Does NOT remove petrify --ShadowsFell 00:55, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Confirmed it removes "Drown", "Burn", and "Bind" --ShadowsFell 05:51, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
Confirmed today it removes "Weight" and "Curse" --ShadowsFell 11:44, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
Does it remove all negative status effects?
I see on the page it acts like an Erase, which on PCs will remove Bind; will Pet Roborant remove Bind? --Eisenzahn 22:28, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
- Don't know, will test next time pet is bound :) --ShadowsFell 01:50, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, it removes "Bind" --ShadowsFell 05:51, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
Good Use Suggestion
As someone who really dug Bostaunieux Oubliette, this seems like a great way to remove the Disease effect from Garm that slows down XPing. --Ctownwoody 19:33, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
